212 LACROSSE PLAYER JACK MINTZ COMMITS TO UNIVERSITY OF VERMONT
PARK CITY, Utah (September 17, 2016) — Jack Mintz a senior attackman for Park City HS and 212 Select, has committed to play NCAA Division-I lacrosse for University of Vermont .
Jack is one of the top attackmen in Utah, impressing the 212 staff with his outstanding athleticism and technical skill set. We asked Jack his thoughts recently after fulfilling a dream he’s been chasing for the last 3 years.
Why did you choose Vermont?
“I chose Vermont because the school is a perfect fit for me with the size and location. I also love the coaching staff headed by former UNC coach Chris Feifs.”
Who would you like to thank?
“A huge thanks to my Mom, Dad, Tillie, Mike Acee, and Andy Langendorf.”

This marks the 30th 212 Lacrosse player to commit to a division 1 program in the last 4 years.
About 212 Lacrosse
212 Lacrosse, is based in Park City, Utah. 212 is led by Mike Acee, who has more than 30 years of experience playing and coaching lacrosse. Mike was raised in Deer Park, N.Y. where he was an All-American, gold-medalist and the top scorer at the Empire State Games for Team Long Island. Acee continued his career at the University of North Carolina winning 4 ACC championships, 1 NCAA national championship and Mike ranked 7th in ACC scoring, starting on attack for the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
At 212, Mike and his staff have a cumulative record of 194 wins 50 losses and 17 tournament championships with 30 players committing to play college lacrosse.
212 Select tournament teams play in honor of Neill Redfern, The Family of Steve Muir and Eric Seremet. 3 former teammates at the University of North Carolina of 212 founder, Mike Acee. Neill is battling cancer, Steve has passed from cancer, and Eric tragically lost his wife in a car accident. 212 Lacrosse endeavors to support those in need such as these families through donation of tournament fee proceeds.
