212 Wins 24th Championship Benefitting Abbey Mayer
(This event was played in honor of Mike’s former teammate’s daughter Abbey Mayer)
The month of June was kind to the 212 Lacrosse program with the Girls’ and Boys’ programs posting a 19 win 8 loss record and 3 first place finishes. But, most importantly, the kids respected the game and played with tremendous class.
212 Select tournament teams play in honor of Mike’s North Carolina teammates whose families have endured hardship. 212 Lacrosse endeavors to support those in need, such as these families, through the donation of tournament fee proceeds.
“As always, a big thank you to the entire 212 Lacrosse community. The support the parents show myself and our staff is tremendous. I’d also like to thank Jensen Neff (Stanford), Kate Graham (UC Davis), Christian Pompoco (Westminster) and Carson Dutkanych (Albany) for an excellent weekend of coaching and the Vail Tournament staff for organizing a fun event for the kids.”

212 founder Mike Acee reiterated the theme of the program over the last 5 years.
“212 Select tournament teams play in honor of my North Carolina teammates whose families have endured hardship. 212 Lacrosse endeavors to support those in need, such as these families, through the donation of tournament fee proceeds. The message for the kids to play for something greater than themselves is unifying and they all continue to play very hard for this cause. I’m extremely proud of all the 212 kids. As always, a big thank you to the entire 212 Lacrosse community. The support the parents show myself and our staff is tremendous. I’d also like to thank Carson Dutkanych (Albany), Christian Pompoco (Westminster), Noah Pransche (Colorado Mesa), Melissa Teel (Richmond), Kimber Hower (UNC), Ryan Baker (Bryant), Alec Meyer (Air Force) and JJ Pickard (Jacksonville) for an excellent weekend of coaching and the Ski Town Shootout staff for organizing another fun event for the kids.”
At 212, Mike and his staff have a cumulative record of 214-54 and 23 tournament championships, with 38 players committing to play college lacrosse.
